Junior Handling is a program run by the Canadian Kennel Club. A great way to keep your kids busy and involved in a fun activity!

Many Clubs have a Junior handling competition at their annual shows, and there are 7 different categories to compete in - Pee Wee; Junior Novice; Junior Open; Intermediate Novice; Intermediate Open; Senior Novice and Senior Open. As the kids compete, they acquire points depending upon where they place in their class. Eventually the top children compete at a Provincial level, National level, and even Internationally!

A great way for your children to develop a relationship with your dog, as well as learn some responsibility. Every year, at the Canadian Mastiff Club's National Specialty, there is a Junior handling competition - handling Mastiffs only!
